home sweet home!! i've caught up on sleep, hung out with most of my friends, relaxed, stayed in bed till noon, shopped a ton, eaten chick fil a and my mom's eggplant parmesian, and basically just had a good time so far. i love duke to death, but with exams i was becoming burnt out and sleep deprived. my grades for the semester are A- in econ (yay!), A- in psych (i was expecting a B+ so yay!), B in writing, and religion hasn't been posted yet but i should get a B. an overall 3.4 GPA which i'm pretty damn proud of. and now i'm looking forward to 3 weeks of nothing academic related.

i love how after months of not being together, everything is the same with my friends. i still get made fun of for my dumb comments, we still play dumb games, sit around and talk for hours, and drive around winter springs aimlessly blasting music and singing at the top of our lungs. it's great. tonight is our annual secret santa party, except this year instead of dressing up in dresses and stuff like we normally do, we are making it christmas themed so everyone is dressing up as a reindeer, santa, elf, who, whatever. should make for some good pictures! :-)
